Whatever happened to Dank?

Dank backpacks were really nice. I know that the guy who made the bags retired, but I was wondering if anyone knew what he was up to these days?

I was actually just wondering that a couple days ago. It seems even his website is no longer up. I remember going there just a few months ago, I think.

Last I remember, he was moving.

company sold to someone in Milwaukee for sure - I know that for a fact. I saw a backpack that was recently done by the person who picked up Dank's old gear. I was pretty nice.

The story as I know it was that a local guy bought all Dank's stuff a little while back. It was all subsequently stolen from him (the fabrics and forms, etc...) and thus Dank has been out of commission for a while. But, I'm pretty sure the new guy is up and running, now. But, is very hard to get in touch with and even harder to order from.

That's too bad - I'd be interested in seeing one of the new backpacks.
