Paul crankset

I want to replace my cranks and was looking at the black sugino 75 however, I've
just discovered the one that Paul comp. has come out with. Pretty darn sexy and I've been very pleased with the Paul hubs and brakes on my other bike. Does anyone have these yet?

Wow, that pricepoint is nice for those cranks, and they look even better in person.

It doesn't so much freak me out as it makes me not want to buy those cranks.

well there isn't a BCD per se.
the proprietary chainrings (3 sizes only!) and the weird 44mm chainline turn me off.

that and they're ugly.

the chainline isn't a problem if you're running paul hubs. i have a perfect chainline.

I want to know what the four circles mountain chainring looks like. I'm not a fan of the road chainring.

four circles look like the road chainring without the card suits. if you look at the pic of my bike, see the four circles that the suits are in? just imagine that without the stuff inside them.

Hey Evan, how do you like your Circle A frame? Did you have a good experience buying from them and all that? Are they pretty open to ideas? I've been curious about them but haven't seen much talk of them yet.

Thanks.

i dunno that these cranks are really that heavy evan. I weighed them on a gram scale against some black 75s with a 75 48t chainring, no chain ring bolts against the entire paul setup and the pauls were liek 60 grams less.
