Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

hahaha. negative. i i'm not homeless in milwaukee, but if i moved to chicago i would be, and i wouldn't have been in chicago long, just until breakaway needed someone. no sense in staying in a motel that long, and no sense renting a place only to move out shortly...not paying extra for stuff is a good way to be able to afford other things. that, and priorities man! (and getting parts at cost gets me lots of extra money for things that i can't get at cost.) oh yeah, that, and ... jealous much?

-jason

( i kid about you being jealous...i'm just sayin.)

they would have to add some serious filler rod during the welding process to end up with joints like that. I would bet on bondo or something similar.

an aside, I told an old school welder about fillet brazed frames, I think his response was "that sounds like a lot of work, **** that."

I concur. Makes me wish I didn't have to pay the exchange on that thing. And it does have a VERY hot paintjob.
