Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? i don't think that is what a dog dick looks like. although they are weird looking, but so are big tubes. and so i might as well have both. oh and a deep v in rear and a mavic open in the front.

i mostly want it so i can switch through my different bars without taking off the grips and putting them back on all the time.

i really thought dog dicks look like those red rocket popcicles, but i don't really look at them. if im right, why eat popcicles that look like dog dicks?

thanks for the ebay, i try searching on there but never find any, i guess i made the mistake of assuming people would put quill in the description... i forgot about fixed gear track bike...

I have a mutant quill stem and I dig it. I got it from a french store online, but I can't remember the name and erased the bookmark. I'll see if i can hunt it down.

Edit: It was xxcycle.com, but they seem to be out of them.

well thanks for trying... and who says it is mislabeled. the fixed gear track bike label makes perfect sense to me... all i need to do now is find some fixed gear track bike shocks.

I'm in the same boat as you, friend. I've been looking for a stem with a -17 degree rise so it puts it parallel to the ground, with a face place, or having a hinge joint. The only thing I've found were these ITM stems from Nashbar which they haven't had in stock for a while... it was like a hinge joint and a face plate at the same time, heh..
