Sugino square taper question

I am looking at getting a used sugino crankset and was wondering if this uses the same square taper as the shimano square taper bottom brackets. Thanks.

Bikes: EAI Bare Knuckle track, Gianni Motta track, Lemond road bike, Nishiki road fixed conversion, piles of parts.

Yes, Suginos need a JIS taper bottom bracket, Shimano bottom brackets are JIS taper.

That's what I wanted to hear. Does anyone know what bottom bracket will give a 42mm chainline with a sugino glp crankset?
