Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Anyone have experience ordering from Chrome? How fast is their turnaround?

I didn't have a problem. I forgot how long it took to ship. It wasn't immediate but it wasn't long either. 2 thumbs up.

Yeah they are very quick considering it had to go across the country to get to me. When I sent my bag back for repair, I had it back in about 2 weeks.

I'm assuming you're in boston given the name, in which case I know of a couple of bike stores around that sell chrome gear and will give you discounts for various reasons. Landry's gives a discount to Massbike members, and back bay bikes gives a 10% student discount. makes it a bit cheaper to buy around here, even with tax.

I looked at Landrys etc and they mostly only carry the Citizen, I was looking for something bigger. I know what your saying though I would have preffered that.

As long as the item is in stock, the turnaround is quick. If its not in stock, you'll probably never get it. At least thats my experience.

Great service. I ordered my bag, +cell holder, they forgot the cell holder, I emailed them, got an email appology and a UPS confirmation the same day. Thumbs up.

When i did order mine about 2 years ago i accidentally selected the wrong color so i called them up and asked for camo and they swapped them while i was on the phone. He then said he would take it out that day to fedex for me on his lunch break. Great company and it arrived fast.

will the turnaround time really sway your decision in ordering from them?
if you had ordered instead of posting this, you'd be that much closer to having a bag already.
