leather free saddle choices.

so i've done some minor searching because my saddle in trash and a half and it seems a lot of saddles have leather on them, some in very small amounts. so far i think the specialized alias might be ok but not sure about leather free. i'm just looking for something that i do not have to wear padded shorts all the time with but still have a little bit of a race design.

basically if anyone has any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated.

and please don't tell me to just shut up and get a brooks.

Arione is badass, but the black/black model does have leather in the center stripe. Not sure about the other colors.

The alias is a pretty good saddle and it is leather free. I like the avatar better (and it's cheaper) although there is a part of it that looks like suede (although I'm pretty sure it's synthetic).

tune speedneedle alcantara (alcantara = ultra suede).

Speedneedle should have the same level of comfort as a classic flite, I'm about to install a wider marathon version on my bike so I should have some personal input on this pretty soon. One problem might be the availabilty of Tune in the US.

You could also try a stripped Selle Italia SLR TT. Try to find one that has a damaged cover, then rip it all off. Same level of comfort.

Not sure about the stripped flite though, the shell looks a little less flexible then the SLR shell, but i could be wrong.

i don't understand why someone would strip the leather off a saddle (unless it was already far gone). you would already be buying it used (hopefully, since you are looking for a leather free saddle in the first place).

this is not a troll response, i'm vegan, this idea just seems wasteful so you look "more vegan" or something

Mine's made out of synthetic baby people skin. Goes well with chic peas. I refuse to tell you where I got it.

fizik "aliante sport" cheaper OEM version of their top of the line saddle... you can get 'em cheap on e-bay and its a great saddle padded shorts or not.
