Before eddie was pictured i always thought of him as a savvy black dude with cool regea hair... honestly i have no idea why.

Nothing ever led me to this impression. I also pictured 165 as scrawny and like 6' 6". LOL. I am the worst at picturing people based off of nothing.

I agree with the 165 thing. I had no idea that he would turn out to be the hulk.

Uh oh.. the theater geeks found each other!

Just kidding.. I was one of you in high school.

rustang 09-25-06 09:12 PM

i have never been a theater geek... unless you count when i was 11 and i worked the lights for my latch-key's production of 'peter pan', but you probably won't.

Nah, that would be more audio-visual. You nerd, you!

rustang 09-25-06 09:19 PM

hmm. i also had a college radio show (at a college i did not attend) for 3 years, and toured around the country djing. does that help or hurt my cause?

Well, in real life lights are definately not A/V, they're their own department and would get offended if you called them A/V. They're "Electricians" (far too often a loose definition at best), actually if you called anyone in sound an A/V tech they'd get touchy too. Also, calling stagehands techies = anger. Working in professional theater tends to make people very touchy about their job titles/descriptions often because if you don't you get shafted with other departments' work. Theater is a touchy world sometimes ;)

I'm in school at BU, in the BFA Tech Production program, so I do a fair amount of work for the Huntington when I have time, since we share our shop and mainstage. PM sent.

FIGHT!

humancongereel 09-25-06 10:04 PM

i thought eddie brannan was asian, too. i cannot for the life of me remember the thread, what it was about, any of that, but i could swear he (or judging by the posts of others in this thread, someone else) said something about his asian heritage.

i don't remember that thread well, but i'm a third one who remembers it.
