Yep, most of us are touchier than bike nerds. It's pretty funny. I gave up about 10 years ago and adopted the I just work here so I can buy bike parts attitude.

(damn electricians)

I don't know.. I was the president of the A/V club in highschool (I know, I'm a dork..) and we did the lights for school plays. I also helped out with some of the backstage stuff for theater. I guess we did stuff differently. It was only highschool stuff though, nothing serious, so that could change things.

Edit: It could also be that were are only a limited about of dorks/nerds/geeks willing to participate in such things.. Who knows?

baldylocks 09-26-06 07:05 AM

Um yeah, it's a little different. Like working on the high school paper and calling yourself a reporter in real life.:p

Oh no! I know you weren't trying to be a jerk. It's fun to laugh at myself trying to make comparisons to what I did in highschool to what others do as a career.. If I can't laugh at myself I've officially lost all sense of humor. :)
