Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

ya after 5 flats I figured out they were crap

picked up a set of bullet proof bontrager race lite hard case tires...things are solid but heavy! Now I need to replace other parts of the bike to counter the added weight of the tires

its an angus, dont worry about the weight. i mean, you have deep vs and a king headset.
i have deep vs and a king headset on my angus as well, but i also don't mind that it adds a lot of weight to the bike. i would definately say go ahead on that fizik, its worth the money.

I say go bling on the levers. Like, campy carbon levers. Nothing like bling parts on a not-bling bike.

Awesome write up. Seconds on replacing the Hypersonic tires... I got some Vittorio Zaffiro Pro tires and they seem to be working great. Ditch the seat and get a Sella Regal... They come in pink, I think...

every once in awhile during the day I walk back to the storage room and stare at my bike. Before I got into bikes I did the4 same to my car.
