I have to say, I appreciate what Carleton is saying (I like Celeste, old and new, and I used to really be into sneakers) but that is a clash. At first I thought the match was pretty good but now looking at the toe of the shoe next to the chain stay I realize that they are working against each other.
Just my 2 cents on a weightless matter.

Are you serious with this? "Played out"? How would anyone know what is or isn't "played out", why would you care what anybody else thought about your shoes, and I think if I was actually conscious of what other people WOULD think of my shoes, I'd consider it time to die.
Aesthetic sensibilities over your bike - well, I get it. But when it's shoes, you're a girl.

Um, one cost $500 and was made by Asian robots, and the other cost $500 and was made by an Asian 12 year old?

Everybody has so many chips on their shoulder and it seems that BF is the only way they can get it out.
You could post a photo of kittens and within 3 posts someone will say something like "Kittens carry dissentary and will give you the sh*ts if you smile at them".
Oh well, so much for sharing something I thought was cool.

One thing to keep in mind is that we tend (or at least I do) to think of BF and this subforum as one thing, when really it is mind bogglingly dynamic.
Every thread is introduced into a unique environment and the way it unfolds is the result of billions of factors, not the least of which is who happens to be on the forum at that time.
At another time of day the dunks and concept combo might have gotten all praise.
You can't take these things too personally, after all most of us are alone and are posting primarily for our own entertainment.

How can you not love kittens?
I really want to see the picture of the shoes and bike after reading this. I'm sure it would be very anticlimactic, but you guys have me intrigued (we always want what we can't have).
