Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Drilling your fork should be a last resort, IMO.. (i.e. don't do it).

Does anyone else realize when they've been suckered by a well timed troll, or just me????

The OP dashing away from his post at roughly the same time the school buses were leaving this morning was a dead giveaway. He's probably in homeroom snickering to himself as we speak...

If this was a troll then he/she must be thoroughly disappointed as this was one of the most well-behaved threads I've seen in a while.

I'm definitely not a troll... Shat, I'm 6'1" on a good day.

I was just trying to have fun. And, a very small percentage of it was a serious question.

P.S. The Nazi reference was to Seifeld.

P.P.S. In response to what kind of Nazi Hitler was, I would suggest: Not a very artistic one.

The irony is, as a frustrated artist rejected from art school, he used his power as an outlet, and actually designed all of the Nazi logos and propoganda.

The moral of the story is: stay in art school kids, so you won't invade Poland and start a World War!

Art School-->

this is a rediculous question, because if you have a really nice TRACK frame, you should build it up like a TRACK bike. if you want a bike that coasts, get a budget fixy frame or make a conversion.

that being said, don't drill the fork. just put on your stupid coaster hub.
