Seriously, though, the core is growing. Give us two years, and it would be perfect. in portland, I would make a solid bet of 150+ locals showing up with little/no advertising. seriously. it was raining during my trip home and I STILL got stuck in a bicycle jam on the broadway bridge. yes that's right. portland has BICYCLE JAMS. (grumble grumble ****ing commuters on comfort bikes going 10mph grumble grumble) in conculsion, yes. even though I'm moving away from the northwest, portland would be a really good idea location-wise. a ****-ton of people would come. |
you're keeping your eye on the U.S. for the NORTH AMERICAN hbs....there are two or three amazing cities in your friendly neighbor up north...
Vancouver - wanna talk about bicycle friendly city! Toronto - its just a touch away from being the next american city (kind of sad really) MONTREAL - everyone knows montreal is the place to be....thats where it needs to be in 08 |
portland is cool, bike central, & there's a lot of tasty micro-brews there, but it can be an expensive place to fly to. philly is probably a less expensive flight with more going on with-in driving distance.

Don, shouldn't you be working on my frame? LOL

If you're going to bribe a man with scotch, Macallan 12yr is probably the minimum at which you should start.
