Bikes: EAI Bare Knuckle track, Gianni Motta track, Lemond road bike, Nishiki road fixed conversion, piles of parts.

PDX loves us some bikes. Come on, more strip clubs per capita than anywhere else, tons of frame building talent is local to the NW, and there's lots of bars with good scotch.

^^^Don, you know Atlanta is the convention capital of the world. There are dozens of halls here, I'm sure with my network we can find you a place here. I've done more than a few cost effective events, all succesful.

Let me know.

Dare I say, Portland kicks SanJo's ass in almost every way imaginable.
West Coast wise, I would think it's an almost ideal spot for your show.
Consistantly rated in the top spot as a "bicycle friendly" town, and it's probably just as close for most of the talent as the BA.
Oh yes, and titty bars.

Including Faster Moustache? About 25-26 people.

Seriously, though, the core is growing. Give us two years, and it would be perfect.

Atlanta has some wicked hooters to bribe you with. No money needed.

Aren't the component vendors supposed to foot the bill? I thought that was the point of tradeshows in any industry.

2 votes for Sac (but I'm lazy) . Are you locked down for San Jose this spring? I don't want to miss this one.

The joke is that our Jail looks better than the hotels in the city. As a planner, there are several joke to be made about Sac.

in Atlanta it's hard to say...you may be correct...where I'm at in Spartanbug SC....little podunk town between Atlanta and Charlotte we are going for the "Bike Friendly" designation by some freakin advocacy group...I don't do the politics...we got an honorable mention and more than likely will get it by the 2008 goal....Atlanta to me is pretty bike friendly....I throw one on Amtrak on my way down all the time and have little problem getting around.

Charlotte mmmmm probably a bit harder to do...but it might fly. We have a ***** airport here in Greenville/Sp'burg...or I'd really plug us

Yo Don, when are you coming back to the homeland (read Sac)? I heard talk that you wanted to join us on the drum bike ride.

Edit: It scares me when Tom and I are on the same wavelength
