I have some serious antique furniture, and an important Charles X repro secretary dresser by Henredon.

The dresser is worth $14,000.00. I never thought to sell it before now....

I hear the market for vintage carbon track frames is going to explode in a few years.

I don't want to flip it...I just want to own it for purely emotional, irrational, and illogical reasons.

It would be an uber-expensive toy to play with, and a postmodern sculpture to look at and touch.

Actually, I was referring to getting rid of something that will holds its value to purchase something that probably will not, but I guess that's what money is for.

I was joking about the Henredon Charles X Secretary dresser.

Now as for the pair of Empire chairs with the carved gilt dolphin armrests....

;)

(Will a carbon track bike ever make it to antiques roadshow?)

That thing is the ****.

It's yours. I decided to pass. No room or money. But it's a pretty rad frame though, original campy headset, gipiemme dropouts, handcut lugs... Argh. Quick, before I change my mind. You only have 2 hours.

bob2a2loo 12-11-06 10:49 PM

Not sure why it isn't? Ebay's are usually sticky's. Why are we misunderstood here on fixed gear?
