Prior to Moser Hour Record in 1984, They didn't ride with them either.

I tried but stayed with what is similar now , Smaller frame size for me 54.5 seat c/t, 54.5 top c/c with chopped track bars.

several "kids" road bikes are made with 24" tyres... felt makes a kids road bike with 24" tyres and there are others... i think the kids trek road bike also has 24" tyres, but i could be wrong.
