Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? i think this would look better with black rims. the red doesn't seem to complement the color of the frame...

but, this might be the finest example of a rattle-can job i've ever seen. hats off.

That paint job floored me when I saw it on FGG, but the red wheels and yellow seat just don't work with the color scheme at all. Probably transferred his components from another frame. Agreed on the fork too, not pretty.

Needs thicker fork blades to match the frame (tho who knows maybe that's the stock fork and c-dale just wanted to be weird like that), and sell those wheels while some fool will still pay $$$ for them. The wheels are literally so bad you expect a "Sorry about the wheels, the ones for this bike are coming in next week but I wanted to take this thing out so I grabbed the ones from my _____" disclaimer. Not sure I'm feelin' that stem either. The paint is incredible though, I love how the 3 patterns work together.

Me neither.

(adopts an excited fey voice)

"Whooo child, those Deep-V's are horrendous! Did he get those from a wayback machine or what?"

"And that stem looks like something I would slap on a kitchen sink, honey. I think he got that from Home Depot."

"Let's not even go there with the seat. Looks like somebody gets their stuff from the McDonalds Tour De France Happy Meal...Girllll... Shut your mouth!" *rolleyes*

that's the stock fork.
and yeah, them's some hideous wheels.
not feeling the stem either. a 73 degree with some quill exposed would look so much better.

Picking apart the build, I say the bars are the worst part. Brakeless road drops on a track bike? Tasteless.

The Planet-X Kaffenback has the same paint scheme, and I've seen some pretty cool builds of it. It's not that hard to make brown look good. He should get credit for messing it up, and bonus points for Twain.
