Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Yes! It was a BMX video called "Dead Sailor". I have it on VHS somewhere. Heh.

A while ago I gave up on doing wheelies on my bike, but after reading this thread and taking some tips I was able to get the wheel up. Its still really hard for me on a 46X15 with a 650c front, but I can't wait to actually be able to do something with wheelies. so thanks

Was it a black dude that dressed like a cowboy and rode a bmx? I remember my friend having this old-ass GT video with some guy doing wheelies sans front wheel.
