#1 rule about the account of people in a)extreme sprots b)in the commuting forum: don't even bother to read the speed figures. People have no ****ing idea how fast 30/50/60mph is so they overestimate and then lie an even higher figure. They always keep babbling about how the rode their DH bike in a rock garden at 40mph. Yeah, right. None of those bikes has a computer to begin with.
This vid was not too outrageous... the wheelies were mighty fast. But the nose wheelie was nowhere near what the vid says.

As lomg as you are coasting, I would think the faster you go, the less work you would need to do to keep the bike balanced. The spinning rear wheel should keep the bike from swaying left-right, so you only need to focus on ther up-down aspect of the wheelie.

(still an impresive video, however)
