Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? My dog just died, and i'll miss her forever, but I'm thinking about getting a cat soon. I had one a little while ago, but she disappeared, and I really enjoy being around a cat.

I want a fluffy one.

I wish we knew! He was rescued as a puppy, we have no idea what he is. Though I'll add Elkhound to the list. Other people's suggestions include german shepard, welsh corgi, shar pei or chow (black tongue), and shiba inu

my buddy used to do that. he would have his dog on a leash and the cat would just follow them on the walk.

Actually, my mum used to take her pet mixie rabbit for walks in rural NE England in the 50s. One day some American tourists turn up in the middle of nowhere and say "hey little girl, can we take a picture of you and your rabbit?" It amuses me that that photo of my mum and her blind rabbit on a leash is in some ancient american couple's holiday album.

Yeah, just the one. The cage isn't really big enough for two, so we just get her out a lot and play with her. We do have a bigger cage in the attic somewhere, but it'll dominate the room!

Yes and no. Their defenses are curling up and ejecting a poisonous liquid, but that's only if you hurt them or try to uncurl them forcefully. It wouldn't kill you if you even injested it though. Also, different breeds or personalities will affect the chances of a millie even doing that. Mine hasn't ever done it. I'm sure you'll be okay keeping a couple wild ones as pets.

They're nothing like Centipedes though.

What a cute pet! The peanut butter video is adorable. Perhaps I'd like a millipede.

i need to borrow a camera for the 'show your stable", "show your ss mtb" threads and this one, but my partner and i just found an abandoned puppy...part pit bull, part something else. she's the sweetest dog ever. i can't figure out why anyone would have abandoned her...she was tied to a dumpster behind a crack house, and a neighbor said she'd been ourside crying for a couple of hours. he was going to call to have her picked up, but we took her so she wouldn't get put down.

pics soon.
