Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

actually i spoke wrong... i dont want a new crank... i meant spider and chain ring.
The spider is usually connected to the crank. You can't get one without the other. That being said, the cranks you have a pretty nice. Just get a new chainring and polish the cranks. As for what chainring, figure out what size you want and look at whats out there. The rocket rings are pretty nice and pretty cheap.

the only thing i can think of is to angle the nose of the saddle down some. it looks really upward pointing/uncomfortable. flipping the bars might look pretty interesting. give it a try. and yeah, fenders are the ticket. silver ones.

...i guess that really was three things. oh well.
