Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

$327.00. Looks good and I like the fact it has brakes. Are the components decent?

Lemme guess; sporty_momma? They're good bikes to get started on, but it's heavy. The rear wheel feels like it's forever stuck in mud, and everything is pretty cheap. If it's your first bike, you'll never notice, but if it isn't, then you'll definetely notice it. I'd say to go for it.

Geometry is lax, but it makes a good single speed. Don't expect to use it on a track. Also, don't expect any part on the bike to last more than a year if you ride it regularly (more than 100mi a week).

Also please read this thread, as the component set on the bikes is the same.

It's a complete bike for $300. So no, it's not good.

i love people who take the time to find an avatar, change their status and come up with a cute gif for a signature, but can't figure out that there is a sticky 4 posts above this one that tells them everything they want to know.
