It's a good thing that smaller wheel is aero bladed. Wouldn't want unnecessary wind resistance.

Unicycle saddle? Boooo. Put a white perforated Selle on there and be awesome. Also, Deep-V's.

wnatw 11-01-06 08:47 AM

how the hell does it steer?

dutret 11-01-06 08:48 AM

by leaning just like any other bike.

The saddle leads me to suspect the rider swings wildly back and forth. I would definetly ride one.

i'd imagine that would only happen during uneven acceleration and deceleration. and would be fun as hell too. imagine though getting this thing up to speed? how cool would it be! ****in' deadly is what. i want to ride it.

Man, I'm thinking about this more and more... I wonder how hard it is to keep upright at low speeds? If you can trackstand on that thing, you deserve a medal.

queerpunk 11-01-06 09:02 AM

i wonder if you wedge that big wheel so it's immobile if you can pedal yourself around in upright circles.

and then be a hamster for halloween.

Shiznaz 11-01-06 09:09 AM

I was thinking it would be cool if there was a brake. Get up to speed, jam on the brakes and just roll head over heels at 30km/h!

LóFarkas 11-01-06 09:18 AM

I saw one of those (w/scooter engine) ridden on TV. They are hellaciously difficult to ride, esp to start with. When you start you swing back, when you stop you swing forward. So the uni saddle is probably a good idea. Also, it's a b!tch just to keep on a straight line.

Now I'll be thinking about this for weeks. Somebody get the owner to do it!!!

Shiznaz 11-01-06 09:31 AM

...Well its better than air travel

dirtyphotons 11-01-06 09:32 AM

^ yeah i was gonna post a picture of that. but i didn't want to derail the discussion before we figured out what the **** that thing is.

so are you handing out medals to every unicycler who can balance for a few seconds?

auk 11-01-06 09:56 AM

Bullhorns, just saying.

Unicyclists don't have 50 pounds of steel and rubber levered over their head such that their centre of gravity is very hard to balance laterally.

I don't see a brake..
Skidding on that thing would be wild... especially since it has platforms!

"has anyone seen the windsor rush hour, I hear it's the cats ass!"

damnham 11-01-06 10:45 AM

Shiznaz 11-01-06 10:51 AM
