Bad luck with IRO...
Received my Mark V from IRO a few days ago, they forgot my seatpost and handlebars, told Tony, got them today (two days later) no problem, now I noticed when I went to put the brake lever on that the piece of the lever that connects the lever to the bars is also missing AND that my front wheel is not true AT ALL. Does the wheel need adjusting or should I contact Tony again about getting a new front wheel? And what about this lever?
This has to be a rare case because I've never heard anyone having this much trouble ordering from IRO.

Don't let this completely turn you off to IRO. Every company has bad days. The wheel can be trued, but if Tony's willing to swap it, go for it.

Just really bummed. Hopefully I can get ahold of Tony tomorrow and get this fixed right quick.

why did you feel like you had to go public with these issues?
did he not meet your needs?
did you call him to tell him about the latest problems and give him a chance to fix it?
i mean, your "bummed" post means Tony's livelyhood. Maybe best to ask him your questions first?

Tony should have sent them the entire bike, in one box, and with a trued wheel -- especially since his livelihood depends on customer satisfaction. But no one's starting a witch-hunt or blacklisting anybody.
The OP was asking for input from the biking community represented on this site. I agree (s)he should have contacted IRO instead of posting here, but (s)he already has spoken to them once to fix what turned out to be the first of three problems.
Is the post unnecessary? Yes. But no more so than an "IRO rocks!" post would be.

I've found it hard to coordinate a time when someone is there to take my call and when I'm able to make it. I noticed this when ordering. I called between the times posted with a few questions, never got an answer. However, I emailed him and the bike came with the specifications I had made.
Crazy *****.

I was really hoping to get riding today.

I think its a great post. Sure it not all "perfect" but it does reflect the fact that the company made good on correcting the complaints, and thats a good thing! Actually knowing this would make me feel better about doing buisness with them!
Im glad its working out for you.
