Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

S. Africa anyone??

I'm gonna be going to Cape town in december... anyone know what the cycling scene is like there? Are parts cheaper or more expensive there? I've been wondering if I should plan on picking up any parts there or should I bring something with me to sell there?... anyone know anything about s. africa and fixies or cycling in general...

Jessica Findley took the Aeolian Ride to Cape Town. You could probably get in touch with her and get some good suggestions. At the very least she could point you towards some good people to talk to. www.aeolian-ride.info
