Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Nashbar saddle goodness

Nashbar has the new black San Marco Regals for $55 (about the same as on Spicer) and some NOS white perforated Concors for $25.

Also, coupon code w226 will get you 10% off.

Just thought some of you'd like to know.

Why do the best looking saddles shred my pants and ass? Rolls... Regal.. I could try the concor but I have like 2 pairs of pants left in my life.

Anyone know how long the Concor Rails are compared to a Flite? I would LOVE to get a Concor for my KHS but I'm worried about the fit.

The rolls and concor are designed for aliens I think. Its like sitting on a log with leather and padding.

they all shred your pants, sure some are worse than others, but they still get little holes in them

ive noticed the softer saddles seems to shred them a bit faster though

my rule I follow anymore is, find a saddle that feels good, and buy like 20 of them in case thet get discontinued LOL( it happened to me and it sucked)

I knew about it, then I didn't think much of it and forgot about it, then my dad called me one nigth after he came home from the doctor saying somthing about it because the doctor said something to him, and my dad knows I ride, so it got me thinking again.

I honestly don't think it's THAT big of a deal, especially if you use your bike mostly for transporation around town/city and you're on and off it a lot like me. However, I just bought a Selle Italia Flite Gel (used cheap), I may get the the Flite Gel Flow, which has the cut out so I quit being concious of it.

I could see it being a concern for people who ride miles and miles at a time or are on their bike all day.

NO ONE WANTS AN ENLARGED PROSTATE =-)

Bikes: Steel geared. Steel Fix.

If you have worries about you prostate get a 'spongy wonder' seat.

They're wierd looking and heavy but comfortable and ZERO weight on the tender bits!
