That thing has "I like Ducati superbikes" written all over it. The only thing that separates that thing from my track bike is the lack of carbon cans and yellow paint. Ok... it also needs a 748cc 90% V-twin. |

Person on top steers, the person in back climbs the "stairs".

Ondřej Sosenka just set the hour record on this custom Moser recently. I have a huge raging hardon for it. So so sosenska sweet http://www.sosenka.cz/archiv/2005/m12.jpg "using a 54 x 13 gearing, a 3.2 kg wheel and 190 mm cranks, with his bike weighing a total of 9.8 kg. The reason for the heavy wheel was that although it was harder to get up to speed, it was easy to maintain it." Hey DW, another 5 dollar CF peice of crap put together by newborn slaves! |

looking at the drivetrain buro9 is right... the "stairs" would have to be turning counterclockwise (the rungs climbing in the back of the loop) however... a neat feature is the left side... with a normal freewheeled hub turned left side drive, and no derailuer... REVERSE! that thing is dumb in ways i cant fathom... and yet... -pete |
the fact that he broke it using a round tube frame, traditionally spoked wheels, and drop bars is amazing.

so it's pretty much not at all practical in any type of situation where you would have to turn though?

There are no situations for which it is practical anymore track or no.... However under any normal riding the stems would be unlikely to hit the ht. |
