Excuse my ignorance, but does the rear hub on the '07 Langster allow for a freewheel on both sides?

Could be wrong but if the 07 like any other langster, then it has a flip-flop hub. Free one side, fixed the other.
You can use a freewheel on the fixed side normally without problems. So I'd say yes, you can rock a freewheel both sides. Just make sure you've got some thread engagement.
