An Angus would be great, but I'd rather have a Rob Roy myself. It'd be easier to justify to the girlfriend, too.

Smorgasgeorge 01-13-07 01:36 PM

I'd like a gray Angus since I already have a Mark V.

shogun17 01-13-07 03:23 PM

A white, black or red angus for me. I just found out I can get a red chris king 1" nothread for next to nothing from a friend.

edmondraptor 01-13-07 03:57 PM

Think it would possible to ship one out of America to Britain if this happens? Serious shortage of track frames over here and something different would be nice.

dogpound 01-13-07 04:34 PM

I'd go angus NOT BLACK, I like thatorange and I'm not even sure a 50 would fit me

im in only if its some afore mentioned crazy 80's color scheme and if i can trade in my current Mark V for a price reduction...

Jserse 01-13-07 08:12 PM

I am down for a 59cm Angus Frame... not really interested in a black one or that burnt orange. A white frame or a special colorway for a group order would be hot though. I'm already in the market for one, so a group order would work great.

What about any baby blues? Blush pinks? Chrome? Has anyone even called Tony yet?? If it has maybe he can give us a palet for color selection and we can then hold yet another poll. Maybe we should get an OK on the order before we all start worrying about colors.

jamey 01-13-07 08:34 PM

do you think tony could make my fork look like a banana? i'd definitely be down if he can.

Same problem in Aus. I hope it could be done.

exfreewheeler 01-14-07 01:35 AM

I say give him the order like this:

67 Angus
27 Mark V
94 total frames... thats 35% off! :D
(numbers as of 2:34am, 1/14/07)

massappeal 01-14-07 02:01 AM

whats the status on this? im in for either an angus or mark v. i like black but am not dead set on it, as long as its not too cheesy.

Australia and Great Britain must have 100k more trackbikes than Sweden, we don't even have a velodrome...
So it's REALLY hard to find one here :/

And if Tony is intrerested in shipping overseas I'd be interested in mark v or angus 62

You overseas people... maybe you should gather a group purchase and present an offer... all due respect, not just to Tony... but to other companies too!

I don't see how shipping overseas should be a problem, it would obviously cost more than shipping in the us; you would have to pay the difference.

freeskihp 01-14-07 01:25 PM

its goin along I have sent all of the info to tony and he is just sorting it all out and is going to get back to me, 8bitrevolution is setting up a site to register and all that

odie91 01-14-07 03:57 PM

do these framesets come with headset and stem, or just frame and fork?

also would it require you to do some kind of "finishing" inside the BB shell and fork tube? i thought i remember reading somewhere that on a raw frame you need to do something like that...

schwinn 01-14-07 04:00 PM

Is it too late to jump on this deal? I'd definetly be interested and am ready to order.

just frame and fork, since it is a pre-made frame it doesn't need to be retapped, and to the poster above me, it is definitely not too late to hop on

mmm. Its just sometimes posting to Aus the difference can be stupidly huge (>$200USD). I ride a 50cm, so if you cut the box right, you can get around it.

I bloody hope this goes ahead

heyjaffy 01-14-07 09:42 PM

I'm interested - voted for either.

odie91 01-14-07 09:48 PM

actually, we're at 127 frames, since some people voted for either.
