sold out, or maybe bought in?

so, i ended up selling my track bike and buying a carbon road bike. my riding style and goals have changed over time, and this is the best choice for me right now. i'm still going to put together a beater/training conversion whenever i get a chance, though. you may now banish me to the road forum immediately.

This forum is so consistently off topic that I don't think it's really going to be an issue.

I just bought a carbon bike too Jesse. I struggled with the idea (I like old stuff), but I was over the tetnus shots.

Seriously though, it's the 21st century. Shoot me if I like sub-14 pound fast bikes!

I am trying to sell my carbon roadie to buy a fixie. I have news for you...you will take a bath on a used CF bike/frame. The only offer I have so far was just silly...I wont sell it if I can't get what I want...it can sit in a box until my son is old enough...and that's going to be a few years.

I don't think any true "full custom" carbon bike/frame exists for the average buyer. I've heard the cost to make a new mold for a single frame is prohibitively expensive to make a single frame unless you are are a sponsored rider like lance, etc...

www.aegisbicycles.com in Maine is pretty close to full custom carbon.

so is Parlee and Calfee. not exactly frames for the average buyer.

i don't see the point in selling a bike to get another. why not just hoard?

Pretty close. It does come in S, M, L sizes.
