I love how they break into "mr. vain" as soon as they start sprinting.

For extra nerdiness, I noticed the Mavic logos on their discs ended up in the same position after the inside guy hopped into position.

The thing that struck me is the spectacle of it and the crowds.... very cool

I was like, "Why don't they take one foot off the pedal, then the other, than one hand off the bars, then the other? It's obvious they could trackstand all day." Then they started sprinting, reminding me that I know zilch about track racing.

the people who are like "why dont we have anything this cool in the US" really need to realize they just watched five minutes of two guys standing still

Hahaha, they trackstand for 4 minutes because neither wants to go ahead... then Wolf gets fed up, takes off. OK, Hoy got his way... but then he overtakes Wolf 1 lap before the end, and wins from the front anyway.

still can't decide if watching that was totally awesome or totally not...
