iro to jen's brother.
thinking about moving the bottechia to a new home.

now, next time, ask me in person.

ps- theres a rolf 650c front on ebay right now, you should get it for the pinny so we can match.

hey philly people, stop jacking the thread! :)

anyways, what cheap new parts are people using? i'm running two brakes and got the set of old 105 calipers off nashbar for like 45 bucks, which is decent. also got the cane creek s-6 headset for 30 bucks from nashbar.

i'm thinking i'll probably go with some fmf cranks (30 bucks?) but still have to find some cheap bars and a stem.

Very true.

I got a Pedal Force RS frameset in a group buy($550 shipped). Many people were saying that putting Campagnolo Record on that frame was a waste. After riding it for 2500 miles, it's proven itself to be great frame. I plan on giving it a Record gruppo over the winter.

Hmmm, i'm planning on getting the IRO V2 buildkit. Should be around $250 with shipping (with bullhorn bars). Then another $100 for brakes/levers and wheels will probably be around $200-250 (IRO rear hub, Shimano or Surly front hub, Deep-V rims). Then there's probably another $100 for tires and other misc. stuff.

well, the frame cost $170 or so after shipping, and i dropped $345 (i think) on the miche group buy, and from that i'm still going to need: pedals, rims, spokes, a stem, handlebars, and saddle.

i'll probably end up spending a good $700 (not including the frame) or so on it if i decide to not swap any parts off my other bike. i'm pretty excited to build it up.

Dangit, i forgot about the pedals... That's another $100...
