Missed "Bike" Connections in your town.

so, for kaka and giggle I once in a while check my local craigslist webpage and take a peek at the Missed Connections section and type in "bike" or "bicycle" just to see what comes up.

i've found some funny stuff on there just in the boston area including this post I just came across which amazed me:

Location: boston
Title: let me rub your back SUFFOLK GIRL - m4w - 24

"IM A BIKE MESSENGER IN BOSTON THAT IS LOOKING FOR ANY HOT, TANNED, CURVEY, LARGE BREASTED, SWEAT PANT WEARING GIRLS WHO ATTEND suffolk or emmerson that have tense muscles. i want to massage your body and do other tasks for you. only agree if you can take my services naked or in your under wear. im in decent shape. i ride my bike all day. i have a lot of tattoos but am not stereotypical. i hope. plus im nice and good at talking and listening. im not looking for a girlfriend. i just want to be your slave. this is no joke."

i usually look at missed connections to look at the ridiclulous things people say on there. i'm kinda hoping that this thread could serve as a missed connection for bikes and such.

so, that being said, anyone here go to boston university (or just live in boston, it just so happens that i see this bike on the BU campus) and ride a black iro (not sure of the model) with grip-less drop handlebars?
also, black/dark blue peugot usually chained up outside of BU's photonics center? i pass it every single day and it looks like a really comfortable ride.

EDIT: i have no sexual/physical attraction to whoever these people are, i just like your bike and want to know who the rider is.

you might be speaking about my good friend andrew who posts here sometimes (username andrewssohip) who rides a black angus, which up until a few days ago had gripless drop bars. his bike now has nitto bullhorns with pink champ grips and he has a black and pink reload tt pad.

i also go to bu - what does your bike look like? chances are i've seen it...

i haven't seen the iro this semester, but all of last semester it had gripless drops; occasionally chained up outside of warren.
i ride a green mercier, brakeless, currently all stock parts but within a week i'll have put a bunch of new things on that i have sitting in my room.

A friend emailed me this one just to see if it was talking about me. I had to disappoint her and tell her that I don't take my uni to the park.

Your Unicycle Was Mildly Erotic - m4m

You caught me checking you out at Deep Run Park
Couldn't tell if you wanted to kick my ass or get it on
Let me know which and I'll know what to do next time

You were walking alone at the res. on Saturday when it was 70. I was riding a mtn bike, we both looked at eachother. I would like the chance to get to know you.
That Saturday I would say that there were about 1000 people at the reservoir. I bet this guy gets a deluge of emails.

I was the obvious **** on an eastbound train to 5pts this morning with a bicycle and navy blue jacket. You said something to your friend and then looked at me for most of the ride. I wasn't sure what to do.

The last one I saw in my area was a driver that said he was sorry he didn't hit a cyclist on a certain road one morning, maybe he felt better after he vented. I don't know.

Don't read too much into it, that was on Pittsburgh's, too, so it's probably...Craigslist spam? Does that happen? I guess it must, right?

https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mis/265310007.html

This was on Pittsburgh craigslist, though, and I actually know the guy. I gave him guitar lessons for a couple months. Unless there's somebody else with a blue helmet and lime green Deep Vs?

Or unless somebody IDENTITY THEFTED HIM!!!1

I said tity.

damn! i meant to post last night because now its gone, but i saw one for new york last night of a girl looking for a guy "definitely riding fixed" at 7:30 pm on jan 16th who passed her on the williamsburg bridge. she thinks you had on a bailey works bag and she liked your smile (she thinks, "it was dark").
i'm so pissed i didn't post this last night! anyway, the reason it was so great is because its vague enough to potentially be anybody who rides over that bridge. ...although 7:30 is usually about when i cross it to get home from work!
