I have a few old frames around and would like to make a fixed gear out of 1. Whare do I start? I am thinking I can use the freewheel hud that came with the bike as a 10 speed? is there a kit I can buy to convert it or what parts do I need and any parts source would be good info. I have been restoring 10 speed road bikes for awhile and am good at it but this fixed gear stuff is new to me so feel free to explain it like I'm a beginer because I am. Do you just strip it down a put on a track wheel ? It cant just be that easy?
