I don't know why they planned it to be so ugly though. Who wants a hideous extension cord? And what about the (what looks like) LCD monitor on the plug? Wouldn't a tiny calculator display be better? How often to people look at their plugs? Wouldn't this plug just cause more energy to be wasted, and more money to be wasted because it is bound to cost a bunch? Seems like a silly idea to me.

I can't wait to see some dolt buy this, use it as a primary lock, lock the seat up to a banister, and get the bike (minus the seat) stolen.

It appears to be e-paper, which is very expensive to manufacture (right now) but actually uses no electricity while the image is static. It's an interesting idea but it doesn't go very far beyond that.

"Half-baked" is the term I'd like to use for some of this guy's stuff.
