Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Haha yeah, see I understand that it's all a matter of opinion and that in no way shape or form is there a hands-down "best" bar, I was just geniunely curious as to who liked what, and for what reason, and in my mind predicted that risers would come out on top because it seems to me people like them a lot, but personally I've never rode risers on my fix. Since I got a lil more $$$ now I'll probably be investing in multiple bar/grip setups to play around with and figure out what I like the best.

I really like the versatility of the of the Moustache bar... or rather, the various hand positions it offers. I will be using those on the SE IRO.

For my Hecho A Mano frame, I will be using upside-down risers, since the TT is 53.5cm. The Moustache bar will be too forward.

I also like the North Road bar upside-down!

i've tried a few different set ups including track drops, flipnchops, and true bullhorns but nothing for me is as comfortable and versatile as road drops with hoods.
never tried moustache bars.... and you couldn't pay me to soil a beautiful track bike with risers (but thats just me- ride what ya like)
