Beautiful. It is the type of thing that raises lots of questions?
What pedels are those they look like just a spindle?
Anyone know how much it weights?
How do I learn to build bikes like that out of carbon?

I love everything about that bike except the carbon track ends, surely he could have bonded some stainless inserts into it. Those trackends will be destroyed in no time.

Old news. They had one on display in one of last years bike shows but IIRC it used a CK rear or maybe it was front disc hub. But it is still hot and serves as a bridge between the weightweenie roadie world and the one speed world. Crumpton's work is amazing.

They could save even more weight if they had gone with chopped-flats-style bars and no brake. Duh.

The bike was designed for hill climbing (hence the low gear). They are generally short courses of 2-3km with average grades of 8%-15%. The people who have been winning them lately have been riding superlight fixies with something a little above 2 to 1 ratios. But because it is a road race, they have to have at least one brake. time trial rules apply I think.
