I like them rad geometry, no cable guides ,drilled for brakes and the best looking fork on a budget bike.
but I have to say the new schwinn madison is looking good as well. but I have ridden a KHS and liked it a bunch more than the slack road geometry of the Iro.

yeah, that's pretty much what i think of them, except the part about having ridden them. if i recall right, the tubing's not terrible, either. i thought about picking one up for a bit, still haven't decided i never will for a budget bike.

you can get quill stems that you can use a wider variety of bars with. the salsa s.u.l. was mentioned ina thread late last week and seemed like a good option...i almost wanted one just to have on hand.
oh, wait...i have two projects that'd be great for. ****!

I have the '06 flite 100 and its great. I swapped out the wheels and drivetrain though, also saddle, pedals and bars. I didn't like the wheels or saddle but everything else is passable off the shelf. Its a great commuter because you can fit it with rack and fenders. It has a nice responsive ride but isn't too crazy that it becomes impractical to ride. Mercier and Spicer offer the same frame, so keep them in mind if you want different components or a bare frame.
My flite 100 was the first year to go threadless which I am quite glad of.

^^^they're right
threadless adapter setups negate most of the benefits of a threadless setup.
also, i use a salsa SUL and i like it a lot.

you can get it as just a frame, but you have settle for red. bike central in portland, oregon sells them as frame and fork only.

I bought a black frame from spicer cycles for 225. I love it. The geo is tight and I prefer threadless. I'd say the geometry is more fun than road geometry and the steel is pretty decent.

way tighter than an IRO. i just dont' like it now they rolled over to a threadless fork... and a 1" threadless, which is a pain in the ass to find a decent stem for aside from a mutant that looks like a, well, mutant.

Love, love, love mine. I got the frameset from Gene Spicer for $180.00 (!). Got hit and had to replace the fork with a Soma Rush fork. I'm rolling on Miche, Aerohead, wheelsmith wheels and Sugino RD's. I'll probably replace those with a Miche or Stronglight crank soon.
Great frame.
