Right, but I live in Chicago which is flat an smooth for miles and miles. In a city with amply wide streets and some of the best public transit around there is no reason to drive around in a car. Ever(unless you're moving furniture or something). And it annoys the hell out of me to see sombody toting their brakeless bike around on the back of their car like a handbag dog. I'm probably the jackass, but I HATE cars and the people in them. I acknowlege their occasional nececity, for instance I am moving this weekend and will be driving a (borrowed) pickup, but those who drive every because they assume there is no other way are stubborn and insane.

EDIT:
BTW: that is not me with the silly truck. It's the guy I sold it to. When I got the new wheels, it no longer fit in my studio apartment and I had to sell it off.

I hear SLC kids are hosting hella rad barspin comps in McD's parking lots after hours...really it's a pretty underground scene so keep it on the DL, the winners get cool schwag like Ourys colored like Shamrock Shakes. There's this guy Grimace who's like 320 but can trackstand for 45 mins if he totes scarfs some McNuggets first.

unsarcastically, i find it hard to believe some kids (that is if they are "kids") have the money from their part time, minimum wage job to afford cinelli's and aerospokes. not to mention the car payments on that civic!

It was established earlier that the bikes in question belong to some folks who were on a road trip, so we have no idea their age or occupation.

point is, it's called make some money and then can spend some. i'd think any american would be familiar with that concept, but maybe in ohio you just work and then you don't get to buy anything with your money.
