Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I love it to be honest. I am also going to be building a new one in the beginning of '09

You should hop on the Alien group buy, I've already reserved my 59 white Alien.

Honestly I just think I like to build. I will be riding my Schwinn till I no longer can or it breaks underneath me. I already bent one of the back arms on the first day riding... Going down a hill with no brake and not enough strength to slow down = a curb as a brake and a hedge as a place for swan diving .

seems like the bullhorns would just cause the bike and rider to flip off the front of the bike
