Is this scene so new...
that it doesn't translate well into photos yet? Some of this stuff just looks wrong to me. Trying to take action shots of 'tricks' just like you would with skateboarding... is this guy bailing?

And you are correct, tricks on track bikes just look dumb on camera... Novel in person, but never exciting...
