Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I've never seen anything like it. Unfortunately, it's the only
angle picture I've got.

If it had bars welded to it, i'd call 'em 'bullmoose bars'.

I'm not sure what the stem itself is.

I had a 1987ish Univega Mtn Bike with that stem. It weighs about 5 lbs.

Bikes: Independent Fabrication Deluxe XT, Club Fuji Dura Ace... Specialized Stump Jumper, Trek 930, Cannondale M300... who knows what the cat will drag in next?

I've seen something similar to that, if not the same thing, on several BMX rigs.

There is a guy in my area who has one hobo converted to road use... I love that stem so much.
