I decided to edit this.

A car hit me, on purpose.

Jeez. I'm sure they'll catch this spineless coward since someone got the tag number. Definitely let us know what happens with this. Hope the road rash isn't too bad.

Youre lucky. Youre ok and if you play it right you can sue that dirtbag for A LOT of money. I mean A LOT of money. Want to buy a house? Youll be able to. Again, if you play it right. Maybe you dont even care. I would. That's attempted murder in some places.

the kinds of people that do this are those that have nothing to lose. if you sue him for all he's got, you'll probably end up with a couple dollars.

That guy intentionally hit you with his vehicle? You filed a police report, right?

I was struck by a women (though unintentionally, it was her fault) and I didn't file a report. I regret that a great deal.

Sue him for everything.

Wrong. I know someone who got 150 grand from a hit and run. Granted he was in the hospital for awhile and ****ed up his back. The driver was drunk.

Glad you're mostly ok. Heal up, file a police report and tell them you'd like to file attempted murder charges cuz that's what it sounds like that f*cker tried to do.

No dont heal up. Call the police now, if you care. Every second counts on this if you want them to do anything. You should have went home in an ambulance to make it really happen. They wont care if you wait very long.

I was hit by a truck about a year and a half ago. Don't think he saw me, busted an arm. I'm healed pretty much and just a little spooky on my left. Whatever you do, neospor your rash, vasiline, too. And do get back on your bike as soon as you can. I wish you well in every respect. I hope your attacker is punished so he'll never hit anyone else. Yep, I'd sue -- just to teach him. Get well.

He said that 911 was called, so it's safe to assume
that the police are involved, and that a report has
been filed.

Glad you're OK.

Arrrgh! That SUCKS!

Be sure to take some time/date stamped pictures of your injuries while they're still raw.
Same with your bike, and get a Repair/Replace estimate.
Get signed, written statements and contact info from witnesses, if you can.
Save all medical receipts.

Best of luck and heal fast!

Wish you a quick healing.

I'm the most anti-lawsuit guy you can find... And in this case, I say try and sue the pants off that ****ing bastard. I think it's only fair that you should get a good couple of (ten) thousand $ and/or they should spend 6 months in jail.

i told my friend that once.he was badly assaulted by a BART security f*cktard for bringing his bmx on an escalator and then he passed away 2 weeks after the incident. i regret telling him this cause he ended up deleting the lj post about it (he went in detail) and now theres not much anyone can do.
