Holy crap on a stick. Less than a minute from my house, as I ride around to the right of a woman crossing the road on her phone, out from behind the car runs her daughter faster than any kid I've ever seen in my life. I missed turning her into nihonjin no roadkill by about 2 inches and think my heart may still be stopped.

I was stupid. I had a hangover from last night. I read 14:00 as 4pm, so I thought I had loads of time to sleep off my hangover then ride over. At 3pm I saw the start time was 2pm.
I'm glad it turned out well - no rain and plenty of people. |
i sprained my hand doing tricks on friday. i rode on it and wrote with it at work and now its so swollen its killing me to even type.
