well then your discription of scandium should be added to the list cause scandium is listed as a material quite often on bike companies sites. it was my understanding that scandium was an aluminum alloy. so whatever; the tubes are treated(or have another element added to them) so that they can be welded whereas they would otherwise be unworkable. that makes them a different alloy and another frame material in my book.
