Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

another disc brake question

Can I get a disc on my bike? Front or back is okay. I have been searching, but am not sure I understand how you can get this to work on a track bike without a flip flop hub. Also, I don't understand how the brake would attach. Maybe it is not the way to go, but if I don't have to drill, maybe it is an option? A link or anything would be cool. Thanks.

You mean ... a disc brake hub used as fixed hub?

Or if you mean, a real brake on your track bike, umm doubtful unless you get a new fork which would most likely have to be custom made unless you wanted to totally eff your geometry.

you need a new fork... It'll be a lot easier to just get one with a caliper hole.
