Seriously, I'm all about aesthetics, but aesthetics within functional reason. I just can't see any good reason for that bar. Seems like the worst of all worlds, truthfully.

I figure the OP is trying to troll. If he really rode the bike like that he would have the grip on. I call BS that the grip 'fell off'.
