cranks?

Noob question here...

I'm ordering a Sputnik, which comes with 175mm cranks on the 62cm version. I have pretty short legs (32" inseam) and a tall torso, so I think I'm going to want shorter cranks.

What kind of cranks do I need? Suggested brands? I'm on a budget here, but don't want to buy cheap sh*t either.

i just bought a set of bulletproof cranks that were fairly inexpensive and seem pretty nice.
i haven't ridden them yet however.

Do a few searches, you'll find lots of budget crank threads with good info.

For a tight budget, go bulletproof (if you don't mind a 110mm BCD).

+1 Bulletproof.. they're not miracles, but they'll get the job done. And they look very nice once you get the lettering off (scratches right off w/razor blade)

I think you'd do with 170mm cranks, but if you're really worried about pedal strike, try the 165's..
