22,2mm (7/8") handlebar?
hello all
well I am building up my new project and although it will look like a singlespeed, it will have a nexus hub with 8 gear that I already bought. Unfortunately what I did not check was the diameter of the shifter that fits on 22.2mm (7/8") handlebars as common on MTB but not on road bikes.
I ve been looking around quickly but wanted to know if it was possible to find such a road curved 22.2mm (7/8") handlebar
thanks

Not super easy. Can't you just spread the clamp?

hello, I already saw the hubhub adapter but it looks too odd to me unless I can cut a bit of the original handlebar and hide the wire under the bartape...
Or maybe i will just get a MTB handle bar.
Anyone tried to cut a handlebar already? I could also cut a piece of it in the middle and glue a 7/8" piece of tube instead..
