Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: a bunch.

They're some steel 'North Road' style cruiser bars, flipped and chopped pretty short. They're pretty comfy. Here's a better picture:

Note the kickass HR Giger black anodized drillium SR stem =D

Good to see another Panasonic Track-4000. Mine's not built up in townie form, it's more "forum-spec" (selle turbo, flat bar with oury's) but I love it.

That looks great shapelike. The orange
is cheeful, and the hk fenders are super slick.

Here's my townie in near to final build. I need
to build up a front wheel around a longer axle
for a porteur rack.

Hey CF what are you doing in Mexico?
I've travelled all over that country.
Never been down to Chiapas though.

This is my Lemond Filmore (has Mavic Ellipses and Alien crankset). New bar and stem combo on today. I'll need to buy a new BMX brake lever to put the brake back on. I chopped the bar a couple inches. This is only the beginning... I've ordered a new Brooks saddle and a silver seatpost this morning. Next I'm comtemplating Honjo Fenders (chopped/shortened a little) then possibly a black front rack and basket, fat 32mm tires, promenade bar.

It's a 48-16 coaster with 650c tires. Front brake is going on once I receive the lever
